I am Gaston, a French bulldog of noble birth, born in 1491 in the lavender-scented hills of Avignon. I was raised among silk pillows, fed truffle pâté, and taught to sneer at anything less than perfection.

But I held a shameful secret: I adored pizza.

Not the refined cuisine of France, non. I craved the blistered crust of Napoli, the molten cheese, the sacred tomato. My first bite came at a masked ball in Florence. One taste, and I was undone.

By day, I posed in oil portraits beside dukes. By night, I snuck to the kitchens, licking crumbs from beneath ovens, chasing whispers of marinara.

They would never accept it—a Frenchie in love with peasant food. But I no longer hide. I was born for elegance… yet my soul belongs to the slice.
